On the 25 January 2021, all the executive members of Indonesian Diaspora Network in Australia joined the coordination meeting. Representing Diaspora NT was The President, Dominic Joko Witono, Treasurer Farhan Feldian and Secretary-General, Mujiburrahman.
The agenda of the coordination meeting was:
Introduction to the new board members of IDN Northern Territory
Fund Raising for Multiple Disasters in Indonesia
Launching of Initiative related to Open Data "Sistem Informasi Desa"
We hope that the IDN NT can contribute any programs to accelerate progress. IDN NT will focus its activity in Darwin about making Webinar about possible cooperation at the borders especially between Eastern Part of Indonesia such as NTT or South Sulawesi and Northern Territory. Future cooperation such as education and business would be a top priority for the region.
Another activity that IDN NT is to support to the fundraising of Rumah Indonesia. The Indonesian Community in Darwin plan to build a community hall. It was been a plan for over 20 years, we hope with the establishment of Nusantara Foundation in the Northern Territory, that the dream of Rumah Indonesia can be a Reality.
